About Us

Nicole ScottNicole Scott is a Certified Yoga and BellyFit® Instructor. She has been practising and studying the ancient art of Yoga for over 10 years. She achieved her Yoga Teacher’s Certification through YogaFit® which is recognized by the Yoga Alliance®. Yoga Alliance® is the national education and support organization for yoga. Nicole also attained her BellyFit® instructor's certification and is excited to start offering this class.

She became interested in pursuing Yoga training through studying to complete her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. There is a large movement in the counseling and therapy field to incorporate mindfulness training in treatment. Yoga helps us to strengthen the mind-body connection helping us to become more mindful. Mindfulness helps us to get in touch with ourselves and our own wisdom to gain fresh perspective of ourselves. As we become more mindful and connected with ourselves we increase our ability to solve our own problems.

Nicole has been interested in fitness her entire life through dancing, swimming, running, skating, weight lifting, pilates and Yoga. She has found Yoga to be the most rewarding fitness activity because Yoga works our bodies from the inside out and we are left with a feeling of peace and invigoration.
